Artifacts of Omiyama site

The Omiyama site is a Middle Jomon Period (c. 3,500?2,500 BC) settlement site located at an altitude of 1,300 meters. This site is the only Jomon village located higher than 1,100 meters above sea level and was designated National Historic Site in 1966. A large number of pottery vessels and stone tools were discovered at the site.
