Red-painted pot of Tsuchida site

This red-painted pot was discovered during construction of a house in 1931. The shape, pattern, and clay of this pot tell that this pot was brought a few hundred kilometers far from the North Tohoku region in the Final Jomon Period (c. 1,700?400 BC).
