Cultural Heritage/Japan Heritage
The highlight of the Omiyama site is an incense burner shaped vessel from the Middle Jomon Period (c. 3,500?2,500 BC). The shape of this pottery is reminiscent of a human face and it was designated a Nagano Prefectural Treasure in 2018.
