Articles excavated from the Anaba site

Cultural Heritage/Japan Heritage
Articles excavated from the Anaba site (the 18th dwelling)

These are examples of excavated relics that give us a glimpse into the religious practices of the Jomon people manifested in prayers for prosperity and good crops. These relics include a vessel with an arched handle and a snake design, which is a typical example of Jomon pottery art and design from the Central Highlands. This collection has been designated a Nagano Prefectural Treasure.
