Artifacts found from the No. 18 pit dwelling of Anaba site
The No. 18 pit dwelling of Anaba site of the Middle Jomon Period (c. 3,500?2,500 BC) discovered a pottery vessel with snake decorations, stone rod, stone mortar, and stone vessel. It is interpreted that the arrangement of those artifacts symbolizes prayers for prosperity. Those artifacts were designated Nagano Prefectural Treasures in 2018.
