Clay figurine of Kajoji site

The clay figurine excavated from the village site from the Middle Jomon Period (c. 3,500?2,500 BC) is very small, only four centimeters high. You can see eyes, nose, mouth, and fingers on this tiny clay figurine. This clay figurine was designated Okaya City Tangible Cultural Property in 2004.
