Artifacts of Umenoki site

Cultural Heritage/Japan Heritage
A large number of artifacts were excavated from Umenoki site and are representative of the Middle Jomon Period (c. 3,500?2,500 BC) around Mt. Yatsugatake. These pottery vessels and stone tools reveal how the Jomon people cultivated in the magnificent landscape of the Southern Alps and Mt. Yatsugatake.
