This museum is located next to the ruins of Yato medieval citadel (National Historic Site). The collection of this museum encompasses a wide variety of artifacts from the Paleolithic Period to the Sengoku Period and includes many magnificent Jomon pottery vessels that flourished around Mt. Yatsugatake.
