Artifacts of Imojiya site

The highlights of Imojiya site are the Middle Jomon Period (c. 3,500?2,500 BC) conical-shape clay figurine (dogu), called “La Vie, Goddess of Fertility” and a deep pot with anthropomorphic motifs on its surface. Besides those masterpieces, 205 items from this site were designated National Important Cultural Properties in 1995.
