Museum/Public Facility
The Yamanashi Prefectural Museum, which opened on October 15, 2005, in Fuefuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture, was built as a place where people from all generations can exchange information, learn about history and culture, and have access to all kinds of information.
With its activities centered around the basic theme of "nature and people in Yamanashi," the museum's mission is to comprehensively study and research how people interact with the abundant nature of Yamanashi, and present the results of this research as a set of important policy guidelines that will inform the direction of future regional development.
